You gotta have courage to marry ME!!!!

April 4th 1958, Dennis Dale Williams was born in St. Louis Missouri. for the last 14 years, this day has become a huge impact on me and my life. I celebrate Dennis on this day. There are many stories but 10 years ago, I took Dennis to Ireland on his 50th birthday. Dennis had spent so much of his time providing for the family in his first marriage that he had sort of lost sight of his own adventures. This is not a bad thing because it is in Dennis' nature to take care of everyone else first and himself last So, early on in our relationship I made him make a bucket list to see where it was that he would like to go. Ireland was at the top of both of our lists. So Ireland it was for Dennis' 50th. Most of you know I have asthma - and this was early on in our relationship where I did not have a nebulizer machine, only my rescue inhalers. So the trip was great! I had no asthma issues. But on the way home I did not have my rescue inhaler, I had packed it in my bag which was in the belly of the plane. We had gotten upgraded to first class for the 8 hour flight. This was awesome, except for the crazy lady behind us that had on an entire bottle of perfume! Most of you don't know it but Dennis has no sense of smell. So he could not smell it. I started to fidgit in my seat, and he could tell something was wrong. I was messing with the air vents, trying to stop myself from having an asthma attack, but there was no stopping it. When he asked if I was OK, I said yes. He said "no you are not what is wrong - you are quiet" (another sign I'm having an attack because you usually can't shut me up). I said "you can't smell it but some lady behind us has way too much perfume on and I'm not able to breathe. I don't have my inhaler - it is in my purse, in my suitcase in the cargo hold." He looked at me and pulled a ziplock bag out of his shirt pocket and said here you go - he had been carrying one of my spare inhalers the entire trip waiting for me to have a situation like this. At that point, we were not married and I said, this is the man who will take care of me no matter what for the rest of my life. This is the man for me! And the rest is history.
